One Month Residency Featuring a Series of Performance Events, an Immersive Installation and Open Panel Discussion.

KIM DOAN QUOC & JAMIE EMERSON: What the hell just happened?
Over the course of the month of June, Kim Doan Quoc and Jamie Emerson aim to bring together a group of artists to reflect collectively on the isolation that we have all experienced over the past year. Weekly curated events will present in-person and digital performances from a number of NYC-based and international artists. Each week's event will examine different aspects of isolation, including in nature, in the home, new tools for cohabitation, and cancellation.
The gallery space will feature an immersive installation that develops as the month progresses. It will feature a built environment of oversized plants growing alongside actual (and sometimes dangerous) plants, projected video works, oracles and a one person covid safe magical movie palace. The project engages a diverse group of individuals in discussing and sharing about forms of isolation, and proposes a physical space, both playful and safe where that can happen.
