Nina Isabelle is a conceptual and process-based multidisciplinary artist. Isabelle creates situations that challenge perception, cognition, and language to inform and align impulse with intention and action. Her work moves toward new and beneficial individual and collective trajectories of belief, possibility, and understanding.
She has been exhibiting and organizing physical and conceptual work for over twenty five years. Her work has been presented and published nationally and internationally by both artist-run and institutional organizations alike.
PROF. CAI QING [SINGAPORE] - LECTURE / PERFORMANCE ART IN CHINA BEFORE AND DURING COVID-19
Qing Cai will be hosting a conversation about recent Performance Art in China, art creation during the epidemic and on the three new books on performance art that he has recently completed.
Cai Qing (Qing Sonnenberg) has been living and working as an independent artist in Europe and New York since 1989.
In September 2007 he relocated to Singapore.
As a contemporary artist, he uses performance, installation, video and pictures to express his ideas. The concept in most of his art is the “observer” and “observed”, focusing on people of various backgrounds in different societies. He enjoys the interaction with different people and his works find inspiration in many of their life stories.
Cai Qing has also curated several important art shows. In 1998 he has co-curated China’s first contemporary art exhibition in a private space, “Trace of Existence”, and recently, in 2008, he curated “Construction before Destruction”, the last performance show in Sifo Art Village, Henan province, before its modernization by local officials.
Cai Qing is a famed performance artist, curator, and professor, one of the pioneers for promoting performance art in China since the 90s. Currently lives and works in China and Singapore.

STVN GIRARD [QUEBEC CITY, QC]
stvn girard is a (co)organiser, a performance artist, a conceptual artist and a theoretician. He holds a MFA on visual art focusing in Performance Art from UQAM (Université de Québec à Montréal). He has written some papers about lies, chess, and riots in relation to Performance Art. He has given lectures about visibility in Performance Art and queer theory in a neo-liberalism society. He has presented Performance Art and conceptual exhibitions in Cameroon, India, USA, Canada, Argentina, France, Northern Ireland, and so on. He lives and works in Quebec-city. He’s work is mainly focusing on community-based and administrative-based work through anonymity and citation. With this posture, he aims to demonstrate the singular significance of a nameless existence in the field of art and politics.
MICHELLE LACOMBE [MONTREAL, QC]
Michelle Lacombe has developed a unique body-based practice since obtaining her BFA from Concordia University in 2006. Her work has been shown in Canada, the USA, and Europe in the context of performance events, exhibitions, and colloquiums. She is the recipient of the 2015 Bourse Plein Sud. Her artistic practice is paralleled by a commitment to supporting action art and other undisciplined practices. She currently works as the director of VIVA! Art Action, an international biennial.
GUILLAUME DUFOUR MORIN [RIMOUSKI, QUEBEC]
CEO of the company Legal Human Trafficking Goods And Services™, Guillaume Dufour Morin (Québec, Canada) is a performance and conceptual artist in contemporary visual arts. His production is at the intersection of action art and conceptual writing and is exhibited in a diversity of supports. While his actions includes collaborative performances, interventions in public space and invisible art, his actions extensions materialize by video art, installation, artist book, text, sound and digital printed medias. His work has been presented, within the frame of festivals, artist residencies, collective exhibitions and collective screenings, in Québec and international (United States, Latin America, Europe and India) several times. He is also a curator, educator and writer. He curated performance events in Québec and India and he presented workshops and conferences in Québec, Ontario and India. His projects have been covered by local, national and specialized medias and funded by agencies (CALQ, LOJIQ, CRSH, Emploi-Québec, Fondation Desjardins). He his holding a bachelor degree in Literature and Creative Writing (UQAR).

Yoruba and Congo culture are two of the most influential cultures to our contemporary popular culture. Yet most people, artist or not, know little to nothing about these two cultures and their impact on today’s cultural practices. Sol’Scool is an on going performance piece where the audience is introduced to Sub-Saharan History, Concepts and Expressions that are at the root of art movements like: Dadaism, Abstraction, Assemblage, Gospel, Blues, Jazz, Rock n Roll, Hip Hop, Modernism and Post-Modernism.
The Good God Almighty Sol’Sax, King of Kings County, Burning Bushman of Bushwick, Was born in Kings County Hospital in 1969 his Mother was also born at the same Hospital. Sol’Sax Brooklyn’s Finest Artist, was Bred in Bucktown and now lives and works in The Boogie Down, Bronx. Sol’Sax studied the occult arts at both Cooper Union and Yale matriculating from both with honors. Sol’Sax is a Tri-State educated sculptor schooled in Old School ways from not just studying at Ivy League Schools but several Schools Of Hard Knocks including Bellevue, and Rikers. His diverse and difficult education earned him The title: The All See Street Dreaded IllumiNatty, Yale's Lock Jaw Warlock.
