We live in a time of the sixth mass extinction, where all life is dying out as a result of human activity on earth, driven by an extractivist mindset. The catastrophe has already taken place, but it still resonates - a symphony of loss and destruction, a disturbed balance.
Let's mourn the loss, let's cry for the dead - humans, animals, plants, devastated ecosystems, polluted waters, earth and air. Let tears wash the wounds and broken hearts, let the song of despair resound and be heard, for its recognition in order to begin the healing process.
This performance is a mourning for loss. An action to embody something as abstract as issue of climate change. It is a lamentation. To acknowledge feelings of grief and despair. They need to be experienced in order to move on, to transform, heal, change - within spiritual frame.

Kuba Falk creates body-based works built out of personal rituals and
spiritual practice with strong presence of themes of healing through
facing shadows and inconvenient truths of self delusion.
His poetry, video and sound works are often incorporated into his
performances creating complex actions.
KUBA FALK BIO
Falk studied in Cracow, Poland at the Intermedia Department of the
Academy of Fine Arts; Stage Directing and Stage Acting at the Academy
of Theatre Arts and Comparative Religion Studies at the Jagiellonian
University.

We offer an opportunity to experience visceral and challenging works by the current generation of international performance artists whether emerging, mid-career or established. Our events are presented on the floor, not on a stage, dissolving the boundary between artist and viewer. This is how performance art is meant to be experienced and our mission is the glorification of performance art.
Grace Exhibition Space presents over 30 curated live performance art exhibitions each year, showcasing new work by more than 400 performance artists from across the United States and the world since 2006.
