MARTIN RENTERIA [MEXICO CITY, MEXICO]
Starting from the body, Martin Renteria creates rituals - where actions, objects and atmospheres provoke all kind of interpretations of the same reality. He plays with universal concepts such as space, power, balance, time; uncertainty, human being essence and the urgency for establish genuine relationships, by means of symbols that cause reactions and reflections in every spectator.
Concerned with evolution, Renteria´s work, invites us to analyze present time from which emanates questions about the soul and our planet´s destination, undertaking ways towards higher conscience levels.
ALICIA SMITH [XICANA]]
Alicia Smith is a Xicana artist and activist. She received her BFA in Fine Arts with an emphasis in Contemporary Sculpture and Printmaking from the University of Oklahoma.
Her work uses the abject and sublime to investigate certain ideas. She is interested in the tension between greed and reverence and its impact on the environment, as well as our relationship to the female body. Through these processes, she dissolves romanticized tropes that deny indigenous women their complexity, while at the same time demonstrating their beauty and strength. Being of mixed-race heritage, her relationship to the land and her body is complicated and something she unpacks through her work with the guidance of her ancestors.
VALERIE SHARP [WOODSTOCK. NY]
VALERIE SHARP is a visual and performance artist living in Woodstock, New York originally from Oklahoma City with a BFA in Acting (2014) and BA in Studio Art (2015) from Oklahoma City University. She creates performance art using a combination of durational actions, costume, and installation in order to transform personal experiences into universal symbols. Through her work, she plays with perception of time, delves into the psyche of fairytales, examines our relationship to nature as a mirror to ourselves, and wanders through the wonderful, mysterious forest that is the mind.
ALEX ROMANIA [NYC]
Alex Romania makes multidisciplinary work at the crux of expansive task and deteriorating form, investigating bodies of cultural debris amidst the invisible everyday and toxic ingestions. Romania’s work delves into spaces of the unimaginable, staring into the unknown to consider a crude and splendid humanity, embracing the unruly to liberate the governed body. Based in NYC, Romania has presented work and taught nationally and internationally – most recently at Abrons Arts Center (NYC), Glasshouse Artlifelab (NYC), Segundo Piso (Puebla, MX), Human Resources (LA), Encuentro (Lima, Peru), UV Estudios (Buenos Aires, Argentina), the Pillsbury House (Minneapolis), the Center for Performance Research (NYC), and el Museo del Arte Contemporáneo (Lima).

SARA KOSTIC [BELGRADE, SERBIA]
Sara Kostic (born in 1990 in Belgrade), received an M.A. in Architecture Design from Belgrade University. She attended EmergeNYC program, at the Hemispheric Institute of Performance and Politics, NYU. She polished her practices by working with artists such as VestandPage, Marlin Arsem, Franko B.
In her work, she incorporates her fields of interest referring to the physical and social context that the role of the psychological and physical body takes.
