There are obstacle to presenting Performance Art within an art fair - we want to draw attention to the performance, while not distracting from the gallery booths

Fountain has tripled its venue size by moving to the historic 69th Armory, yet remains true to its progressive roots by hosting not one but now two events during Armory week in New York.
Contemporary art gurus Artlog will kick off an unforgettable celebration at Fountain’s Public Opening Night Reception, Friday March 9 from 7-11pm, guest DJ’d by New York legend Fab 5 Freddy. On Saturday visitors will now have four extra hours to soak up Fountain’s art-fueled frenzy, as Fountain has extended its hours until 11pm for an exciting Saturday night event curated by our nonprofit partner Art for Progress.
Fountain is dedicated to supporting smaller independent galleries and artists will present an outstanding roster of participants including veterans The Marketplace Gallery, Microscope Gallery, and Marni Kotak as well as an impressive lineup of new exhibitors, among them Big Deal Arts and Albany Center Gallery.
Exhibitor space at the fair has been booked in record time, however a few booths remain. Prospective exhibitors can submit applications for Fountain New York 2012 by clicking here; the deadline to apply is February 14th.

We offer an opportunity to experience visceral and challenging works by the current generation of international performance artists whether emerging, mid-career or established. Our events are presented on the floor, not on a stage, dissolving the boundary between artist and viewer. This is how performance art is meant to be experienced and our mission is the glorification of performance art.
Grace Exhibition Space presents over 30 curated live performance art exhibitions each year, showcasing new work by more than 400 performance artists from across the United States and the world since 2006.
